Steps to create a password reset disk for local user accounts in Windows 10:
Insert a USB flash drive into your computer.
Click the Windows button.
Type password.
Select Create a password reset disk. then Next.
Select the storage drive where you want to save your password information, then Next.
Type your current user account password, then follow the prompts to finish.

HP strongly recommends creating a password reset disk to enable you to reset your password in case it is forgotten.
