Steps to change a local user account password from an administrator account in Windows 10:
Sign into the administrator account.
Click the Windows button.
Type User Accounts.
Select User Accounts.
Click Manage another account.
Click the local user account with the forgotten password.
Click Change the password.
Type a new password.
Type the password again to confirm.
Type a password hint.
Click Change password.
Sign into your account using the new password.
